Baku Engineering University (BEU) has hosted the final round of the Republican Subject Olympiads in Informatics.

In the final stage, which was attended by 72 students, participants were presented with a total of 5 algorithmic problems and were given 5 hours to solve them. Students competed in 2 semi-groups such as upper age group and lower age group

During Olympiad, all preventive measures against coronavirus were taken to ensure the safety of participants and protect their health.

It should be noted that the semi-final round of the Republican Subject Olympiad in Informatics for the lower age group was also organized at BEU in February. The competition was held in accordance with the rules of IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics). The main purpose of the Olympiad is to identify talented students and identify candidates for participation in international subject olympiads, as well as to create conditions for students distinguished by their talent and training to demonstrate their knowledge and skillsdistinguished by their talent and training.
