Stand-up on specialty choice and career has been held at Baku Engineering University(BEU).

The event was jointly organized by the Education Faculty of the University, BEU Student Youth Organization (SYO) and BEU Student Trade Union Committee (STUC).

Dean of the Education Faculty, assoc.prof. Elshad Abduallayev emphasized that the event was dedicated to a very important topic.  He noted that despite the fact that students choose a specialty, the event could be useful in the future in terms of their narrow specialization, as well as in terms of choosing another specialty in which they were more successful. In his speech, the dean added that a series of such events would continue.  

Later, Adil Valiyev, an employee of the Education Faculty, specialty choice  and career specialist, took the floor. He expressed his gratitude to the BEU administration for the conditions created for the organization of such an important event.

Sharing his own experience on specialty choice and career, A.Valiyev advised students to choose their favorite specialty. Noting the importance of joining student clubs, as well as various events during student years, he touched upon that it would help increase the knowledge and skills. Furthermore, encouraging students to participate in volunteer activities, Adil Valiyev added that this would have a positive impact on networking.

Students' questions were answered and some of them were presented with gifts at the event.
