A seminar called "ROHDE und SCHVVARZ" day has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Professor Ramiz Humbatov, head of the Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy of BEU, said that the seminar organized under the motto "ROHDE und SCHVVARZ - 90 years of innovations in the field of radio engineering" is dedicated to the anniversary of the famous German multinational company and the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the aforementioned department.

At the event attended by students and teachers of the department studying radio engineering, telecommunications, electricity, electronics, automatics and other specialties, the engineer of "ROHDE und SCHVVARZ" Sergey Rybinski made a presentation about the activities of the institution he represents.

Aleksandr Beresnev, the manager of the company who joined the seminar online from Munich, introduced the participants to the latest innovations of "ROHDE und SCHVVARZ", including control and measurement equipment.

Later, at the seminar, reports were heard about the testing of electromagnetic compatibility, as well as the latest innovations and applications.

Achievements related to control and measurement equipment, innovative solutions of "ROHDE und SCHVVARZ" company in the field of electromagnetic compatibility for telecommunication, industrial and medical standards, the role of the company in the field of education were the topics of the seminar. Among other topics, comparative analysis of communication operators based on ETSI TR 103 559 basic standards using the methodology of indexing network operating characteristics, simulation of signals of communication systems and global navigation communication systems using advanced vector generators of the company "ROHDE und SCHVVARZ", search and localization of obstacles in communication networks, issues such as 5th generation broadcast (5G Broadcasting) solutions have been included in the field of television.

After the presentations, the experts answered the questions of the seminar participants.
