A scientific seminar on the topic “National Pride and Power: The Relationship between Nationalism and Militarism” has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Speaking at the seminar, acting head of the Department of Public Administration, Associate Professor Khanlar Heydarov drew attention to the work done to strengthen scientific research at BEU and emphasized the importance of scientific seminars organized in this direction.

Later, the presentation on the topic by the senior lecturer of the department Nargiz Nahmatova was listened to. The speech discussed the mutual influence of nationalism and militarism on each other, as well as the role of political and cultural factors in the historical formation of nationalism, as well as the spread of militarism.

At the end of the seminar, which continued with a wide exchange of views around the presentation, the questions of the participants were answered.
