The next scientific-methodical seminar on "Discussion of the 2023 state budget project" has been held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, associate professor Mayis Azizov highlighted the importance of organizing such scientific seminars, speaking about the essence of the event and the relevance of the topic it was dedicated to.
Speaking at the seminar, Professor of the Department of Finance and Accounting Saleh Mammadov discussed in detail the issues, including the evaluation of the macroeconomic forecasting technology of the country, the compatibility of the overview and state budget forecasts, the advantages of the 2023 budget, forecasts of the price of Brent oil, forecasts of international organizations regarding inflation in Azerbaijan, and etc.
Vice-Rector for scientific affairs of the university, associate professor Elchin Suleymanov provided information about the changes recorded in the budget dynamics in Azerbaijan in recent years, including the increase of the living wage for 2023. Elchin Suleymanov presented detailed information on macroeconomic forecasts for 2023, forecasts of leading international organizations on the world economy, and other issues.
Later, discussions were held around the presentations, and the questions of the participants were answered.
