Baku Engineering University (BEU) has hosted a meeting with representatives of Azerikimya Production Union (PU) on a paid internship program. The event was organized by BEU Department on work with enterprises and career and Internship Department.

Hazi Gasimov, Head of the Internship Department of BEU, assoc.prof. Afar Alifov Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, assoc.prof. Yusif Abdullayev Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Najaf Orujov Associate Professor of Automatics and Electroenergectics Engineering Department, Gulchora Ibrahimova, Director of the Department on work with entreprises and career, Mirvari Abdurahmanova, Head of the Human Resources Department of Azerikimya PU, and Nafig Beydullayev, Deputy Director of the Ethylene-Polyethylene Plant attended the meeting.

Representatives of Azerikimya PU gave detailed information about the 2-month paid internship program to be implemented in accordance with the required specialties at SOCAR enterprises and organizations.

It was noted that graduates of the bachelor's degree, as well as BEU students pursuing their education at the master's level in the required specialties can apply for the internship program. The participants of the event were informed that the selection was carried out on a competitive basis and consisted of two stages. Furthermore, it was added that young people undergoing paid internships would be paid 250 AZN.

H.Gasimov thanked the representatives of the organization for creating conditions for BEU students and graduates.

Prospects for future cooperation between BEU and Azerikimya PU were discussed at the meeting and an extensive exchange of views ws held.
