The last year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have met with the employees of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Mayis Azizov, the dean of the faculty, spoke about the importance of the cooperation between the university and state and private enterprises, as well as the organization of such events aimed at career goals for students.

Then Elman Huseynov, the head of the Human Resources Management Department of the Ministry of Finance, Zaman Huseynov, Deputy Director of the Center for Designing Medium-Term Expenditure Framework, Rena Huseynova, the sector manager of the International Cooperation Department, and Laman Ismayilova, an employee of the Human Resources Management Department, made presentations.

In the speeches, the history of the Ministry of Finance, directions of activity, structure, basic principles of employment (civil service) rules, job security stages of candidates, advantages of civil service, etc. was informed about.

At the meeting, issues such as involvement of final year students in relevant structural units of the Ministry of Finance, exchange of experience were touched upon, and students' questions in this and other areas were answered in detail.
