Under the chairmanship of the Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Professor Havar Mammadov, a meeting of doctoral admission committee with applicants has been held. 

The event was organized in accordance with the requirements of “Admission plans of higher education institutions, scientific institutions and organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Doctoral Training Programmes for 2022” approved by the respective Order of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Welcoming the participants, Chairman of the Admission Committee Havar Mammadov stressed that the policy implemented in the country for the development of science, education and human capital was successfully pursued under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, and science was one of the priorities of state policy. Emphasizing the importance of increasing the interest of young people in science and the responsibilities of higher education institutions in this area, the Rector cited the work done in this direction at BEU. He added that BEU scientific research activity is  expanding year by year. 

Expressing his hope that the modern youth would make a positive contribution to the development of science, Havar Mammadov wished success to all applicants.

Later, the Head of Graduate Studies and Doctoral Department, Professor Mahir Bashirov acquainted the members of the commission with the documents of the doctoral students.

After discussions and verification of qualifications, the decision on the admission of 15 doctoral students applied to BEU in 2022 to the exams was decided.
