An info session about the "GreenAgroHack" hackathon competition has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).
At the event, BEU vice-rector for science and innovation Agasi Malikov, director of Agrarian Innovation Center Anar Jafarov, representatives of "FemTech" Acceleration Center, "SABAH.HUB" Innovation Center and others spoke and emphasized the importance of the said competition. Furthermore, attention was drawn to the opportunities created by the competition in terms of career development.
At the event, full information was provided on the main points of the competition, the conditions of the hackathon, and the rules of participation, which will be held within the framework of the "Green World Solidarity Year". It was noted that "GreenAgroHack" is organized within the framework of the 17th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Fair to be held on May 15-17, 2024 at the Baku Expo Center. The competition aims to promote the role and importance of innovation in the agricultural field, smart solutions, development of special software in the field of agriculture within a certain period of time (29 hours, 29 minutes, 29 seconds) with the participation of students of advanced higher education institutions.
As for the conditions of the competition, it is possible to participate in the competition as a team or individually, consisting of students of at least two different universities, consisting of a maximum of 5 people (with a minimum of 1 woman).
