A master class and a musical night have been held on "Azerbaijan's national musical culture" as part of a series of events held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev on the initiative of the Department of Design of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction at the Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Starting with the playing of the National Anthem, the dear memory of the National Leader was commemorated with a minute of silence

At the event, the steps taken in the direction of the development of our culture during the reign of Heydar Aliyev, a genius who left his mark in all fields of Azerbaijani culture and art, were discussed. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan's music, cinema, theater and other areas of our art have taken their rightful place among the world cultures by successfully developing as a result of the attention and care of the Great Leader..

Later, Abbasgulu Najafzada, Doctor of Science in Art Sudies of Azerbaijan National Conservatory, professor, people's artist , took the floor at the event. Expressing his gratitude for the organization of such an event, people's artist informed the students about the books authored by him.

At the meeting, the performance, teaching of the people's artist were also touched upon. It was also noted that he is the author of more than 60 melodies, and a video clip was demonstrated in this regard.

Afterwards, a song was played by Mabud Ahmadov, a participant of the 44-day Patriotic War and a graduate of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Moreover, musical numbers performed by various singers were played accompanied by the "Gunaydin" instrumental ensemble led by A. Najafzada.
