The preliminary discussion of dissertation work "Neutrino-electron interactions when ultrarelativistic electrons and neutrinos pass through crystals" of Rania Rouggani Merzouki, doctoral student of Physics Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU), citizen of the Kingdom of Morocco, has been held.
In the presentation of his dissertation work on receiving the Ph.D. degree in physics in the specialties "2211.01-Solid State Physics" and "2212.01-Theoretical Physics", R.R. Merzouki applied the results obtained in the fields of elementary particle physics, solid state physics, cosmology and geophysics, and in those fields, including the possibilities of being used in researches in the field of theoretical physics. Furthermore, he introduced the main results to the participants and answered their questions.
During the discussion of the dissertation work, the dean of the Education Faculty of BEU, associate professor Seyran Gayibov, the head of the Graduate and Doctorate Department, professor Mahir Bashirov, the head of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, associate professor Humbat Aliyev, the head of the Physics Department, associate professor Razim Bayramli expressed their opinions. In the discussions, the scientific supervisor of the doctoral student, the corresponding member of ANAS, Veli Huseynov, the senior researcher of the Institute of Physics Problems of Baku State University, professor Rauf Jafarov and his junior researcher Narmin Alakbarova, the associate professor of the Department of General Physics of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Namig Niftiyev, the leading researcher of the Institute of Physics Elchin Jafarov participated.
At the end, it was recommended that the presented dissertation work be passed to the next stage, and the doctoral student was wished success in the next stages.
