BEU hosts classes dedicated to Khojaly genocide

Baku Engineering University (BEU) has organized special classes dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

In the classes, the students were told about historical facts on the attack on the city of Khojaly by the Armenian armed forces, grossly violating the norms and principles of international law, with the participation of the 366th regiment of the former Soviet army, which was located in Khankendi, on the night of February 25-26, 1992, and on the unprecedented brutality of the civilian population. Moreover, giving a legal and political assessment to the Khojaly genocide for the first time by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the decisions and decrees signed in this direction were brought to attention.

During the speeches, concrete, purposeful measures implemented by our state and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation were emphasized in order to make the Khojaly genocide known to the world, and to ensure that the perpetrators of the tragedy receive their deserved punishment.

In the lessons, the brilliant victory won in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the last year's anti-terrorist operations were mentioned. Furthermore, it was noted that our flag is flying in Khojaly and other liberated areas. It was reported that our nation is already commemorating the victims of the Khojaly genocide as a victorious country and a victorious nation.

Detailed answers were given to the students' questions in the lessons, where the memory of the victims of Khojaly was remembered with deep respect.
