"Earning the title of high-scoring student is as much a source of pride as it is a responsibility. Because this achievement is not merely a personal success - it is the result of my family's support, my teachers' guidance, and especially the comprehensive conditions created for us young people by President Mr. Ilham Aliyev."

This opinion was expressed by Narmin Talibova, who achieved excellent results in the entrance examinations for higher education institutions at the bachelor's level for the 2025-2026 academic year and was admitted to Baku Engineering University (BEU) with 661 points.

She successfully graduated from Aghjabadi city secondary school No. 1. Through dedicated preparation for the entrance examinations, she earned admission to BEU's "Information Technologies" specialty. 

N. Talibova, stating that her choice of BEU was not coincidental, cited as the main reason that the higher education institution provides education with curricula appropriate to the new era of scientific revolution and technological development: "In the current period, engineering and innovation are not only fields of science, but also fundamental factors that determine countries' strength and competitiveness. This higher school is recognized as a university with a strong educational environment that provides not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. The modern laboratories here, international exchange opportunities, and professional teaching staff open new horizons for us students."

Evaluating her student years as a new stage in young people's lives and the foundation of new achievements, N. Talibova emphasized that a great and honorable task lies ahead: "Now we must continuously learn, develop, and strengthen both our own future and our Homeland's future with our knowledge and skills. Today, the future of our rapidly developing Homeland will be built precisely on science, technology, and innovations. I am confident that at this university we will develop not only as knowledgeable and innovation-oriented creative specialists, but also as patriotic, responsible, and values-committed citizens, and will contribute to our country's development."

It should be noted that the number of high-scoring applicants who gave preference to BEU has increased nearly twofold compared to the previous year. 395 of those admitted scored above 500 points, while 53 scored between 600-700 points.
