February 2 is the Day of Azerbaijani Youth. The successful state youth policy implemented for many years has led to the formation of patriotic, modern-educated youth in our country.

 The 44-day Patriotic War proved that a young generation with strong patriotic feelings and a national spirit was grown up in Azerbaijan once again. Modern youth who are very dedicated to our Motherland and sacrifice their lives to protect it without a second thought are the very graduates of the political school of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the administration of President Ilham Aliyev. 

Within the framework of this policy, Baku Engineering University (BEU) carries out consistent measures to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, to gain them high moral and spiritual qualities and to bring them up as individuals. At the same time, work is being done to promote young people.

It should be noted that the majority of people working at BEU, which has a modern infrastructure, are young people. The average age of the university's academic staff is 43.

BEU is one of the leading universities in the country in terms of the number of student clubs and the diversity of student activities. There are 49 student clubs at the University. Clubs play a very important role in enriching the social and scientific life of students, deepening their knowledge and skills in addition to classes, as well as making the student life pleasant and fun. Numerous student clubs for students who love intellectual games, chess, reading books, playing interesting games, debating, trying to improve their career skills, doing charity work and other activities make their student life more interesting, effective and memorable. Moreover, there are 4 student organizations at the university - Student Trade Union Committee, Student Youth Organization, Student Scientific Society, NAP Youth Organization.

Employment of graduates at BEU is always in the center of attention. BEU has a Department on Work with Enterprises and Career in order to establish cooperation with private and public institutions, provide internships and jobs for students. BEU is one of the leading higher education institutions in the country in terms of employment of graduates, and in recent years, about 85% of the University graduates have been provided with jobs.
