Online dissertation defenses of graduate students majoring in Financial Management of Finance Department at Baku Engineering University(BEU) have been held. 

In accordance with the requirements of the current pandemic and special quarantine regime, graduate students defended their dissertations online. Despite of new format, the availability of technical infrastructure at BEU, as well as the experience of the academic staff in distance education led to a high level of organization of online defenses.

Assoc.prof. Elchin Suleymanov, the Chairman of the Specialized Scientific Council, assoc.prof. Mayis Azizov, the Deputy Chairman, members- assoc.prof. Saleh Mammadov, Ph.D. in Economics Fuzuli Aliyev, assoc.prof.  Rauf Mammadov, the Head of Graduate Studies and Doctoral Department, attended the defense process. 

Graduate students presented their research on the topics of tax, financial policy, financing issues, revenues of the State Oil Fund, etc. Modern research topics such as research of cryptocurrencies as an investment tool, the impact of economic crises on the state budget, behavioral finance were widely discussed. 

At the end, the members of the Council congratulated the graduate students who successfully completed their defense and wished them success in their future careers.
