Narmin Aliyeva, a graduate of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has organized an educational event in Great Britain regarding the 29th session of UN Climate Change Conference (COP29).
At the event held in Glasgow with the support of the Azerbaijani diaspora, the BEU graduate and other speakers spoke in detail about the work done in the field of environmental protection and green energy in our country in recent years. In this direction, seed boxes were distributed as a gift to the guests in order to protect the environment and greenery after various renovations.
Moreover, with the support of the "Glasgow" Azerbaijan Society, an Azerbaijani language lesson was held for the participants by Samira Hasanzade, a member of the mentioned society within the framework of the traditional "Summer School" project of UNESCO and a doctoral student studying at the University of Glasgow under the State Program. The main goal was to make our native language, rich culture and history more widely known to foreign students and representatives of science. Within the framework of the event, a stand related to Azerbaijani culture was set up and the traditions of our country were demonstrated.
N. Aliyeva, who is currently studying for a second master's degree at the University of Glasgow, also works as the chairman of the "Glasgow" Azerbaijan Society.
