An online meeting has been held between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Shandong University of Technology, which is a leading institution among the prestigious higher education institutions of China and has a high academic reputation in the international arena, to expand cooperation.

BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul emphasized that the meeting was organized as a continuation of the negotiations held within the framework of the university delegation's visit to China this year. Speaking about the importance of deepening cooperation, the Vice-Rector expressed her confidence that this would yield positive results for both sides.

Dr. Li Na, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau of Shandong University of Technology, also mentioned in her speech that the meeting aimed to further develop relations, highlighting the beneficial aspects of cooperation.

During the meeting, it was also added that a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two higher education institutions in China in July of this year, and issues arising from the document were discussed. A wide exchange of views was held on the implementation of student exchange programs, the development and application of dual degree programs, the establishment of the China Center at BEU and the Azerbaijan Center at Shandong University of Technology. It was pointed out that the deepening of relations between the two universities would serve the exchange of mutual experience in the field of education and scientific research, and the creation of new opportunities for students and teachers.
