According to the decision of the High Attestation Commission (HAC) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Humbat Aliyev, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Tarana Hajiyeva, Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Pedagogy were awarded the scientific title of associate professor for scientific and pedagogical activities.  

H.Aliyev was engaged in scientific and pedagogical activity for many years. He is the author of many textbooks, as well as articles published in prestigious scientific journals. Calculus and analytic geometry textbook, co-authored by Humbat Aliyev, was published in 2017 by Scholars' Press.

T.Hajiyeva is the author of numerous scientific works, including scientific monographs, subject programs. Furthermore, her articles and theses on various topics in 2019-2022 were published in international indexed journals and international scientific conferences.
