Employees of the Education Faculty of Baku Engineering University (BEU) are among the authors of the Science textbook taught as a pilot in the 5th grades of secondary schools.

Thus, the dean of the Education Faculty, associate professor Elshad Abdullayev, head of Chemistry and Biology Department, Ph.D. in Chemistry Elmar Imanov and the head teacher of the Department Elshad Yunusov are among the authors of the book.

The Science textbook compiled by the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan is based on research-based learning and integration of natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, geography).

The "Science-5" textbook set has been submitted for pilot testing in 132 schools across the country in the 2021/2022 academic year.
