An employee of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Hazi Gasimov has taken part in the next astro seminar held at the Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory named after Nasraddin Tusi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
First, the head of the "Binary Stars and Eruptive Processes" department of the observatory, Ph.D. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences Bayram Rustamov informed the participants about the topic of the seminar.
Then H. Gasimov, an employee of BEU, made a report on "The role of 11 years of solar activity in finding different classes of comets."
The report was met with interest by the seminar participants. Discussions were held on the topic and participants' questions were answered.
The seminar also discussed the new regularities that the authors had recently acquired in the field of solar-comet relations. It was noted that the results obtained by the authors might be useful in the search for new comets.
