BEU employee makes a speech at event dedicated to Independence Day

Baku Engineering University (BEU) teacher, doctor of philosophy in history, associate professor Bilal Dadayev has made a speech at the event held on the occasion of May 28-Independence Day at the command of the Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

At the event attended by the personnel of the civil defense troops, the BEU employee and other historical scientists noted that the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the first democratic republic in the Muslim East, was a great historical event. Moreover, it was emphasized that the Republic fulfilled the difficult historical task it undertook with honor in the complex conditions in which it operates.

In the speeches, it was discussed in detail that Azerbaijan, which has regained its independence, has turned into a powerful state, the owner of voice and influence in the world, and the historical services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev were brought into consideration. Furthermore, it was proudly noted that the progressive policy founded by the Great Leader has been successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, and that Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity have been completely restored under the wise leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief.

Later, a documentary film on the history of Independence Day was shown and the event continued with a concert program performed by the Model Orchestra of the Civil Defense Troops.
