BEU employee deliveres a report at scientific congress of Turkic-speaking countries

Zabita Teymurlu, associate professor of the Azerbaijani language and pedagogy department of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has participated in the 4th International Congress on Turkish Geography Social Sciences Research held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. 

At the congress organized by Kütahya Turkish Hearth and Alfraganus University, BEU employee gave a speech on "Common language memory of Turkic-speaking peoples". In the speech, a special place is devoted to the identification of common borrowed words in Turkish and Azerbaijani language dialects. It was emphasized that the research can be useful both in preserving the common language memory of Turkic-speaking peoples and in preparing common dialectological dictionaries.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the congress is to collect research on the common values ​​of the Turkic peoples in one center, as well as to evaluate the effects of social sciences and education in Turkic-speaking countries.
