BEU becomes the first university from Azerbaijan to join World Economic Forum

Within the framework of the close cooperation of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy with the World Economic Forum, Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the Center for Economic and Social Development (CESD) have become members of the Forum’s “Strategic Intelligence” platform as content providers.

BEU is the first Azerbaijani university to receive the status of a content provider on the “Strategic Intelligence” platform, and CESD is the first local organization.

It should be noted that the number of registered users of the platform exceeds 1 million. It has more than 400 academic partners who create content, including Harvard, Yale, Oxford universities and KAIST. “Strategic Intelligence” is a platform that combines hundreds of global problems and their mutual maps. This artificial intelligence-based platform allows you to obtain broader perspective information on key issues on any topic and understand the main trends related to those topics. The information is presented in the form of an interactive, dynamic data visualization called a “transformation map”. Transformation maps cover more than 300 topics in total and help explore and understand the connections between the economy, industry, climate, energy, and other global issues.
