A cooperation agreement on the provision of training services was concluded between Baku Engineering University (BMU) and the Education Quality Assurance Agency (EQAA). The document was signed by the Rector of the university, professor Havar Mammadov and the chairperson of the EQAA Ulkar Sattarova.
According to the agreement, EQAA will provide training services such as "Rules for accreditation of educational institutions", "Evaluation criteria for institutional accreditation of higher education institutions", "Rules for conducting self-analysis and drawing up a report during institutional accreditation". Moreover, the university will receive support from the above-mentioned institution on the services of "Mechanisms of internal quality assurance in the higher education institution", "Strategic planning and management of the higher education institution".
From the next week, the implementation of the services provided in the contract, including the organization of trainings for the heads of units and academic staff of the university, will be started.
Of note, it is one of the activities of EQAA to organize consulting and methodical support services related to the establishment and development of internal quality assurance systems in educational institutions, as well as to prepare recommendations for the implementation of accreditation of educational institutions and organize training in this direction.
