Memorandums of understanding have been signed between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and two well-known higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Turan University.
The signing of documents with both universities took place during the visit of BEU rector Yagub Piriyev to this country.
The documents signed separately with the rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Janseit Tuymebayev and the rector of Turan University Rahman Alshanov cover issues such as conducting joint scientific research, conducting faculty and student exchanges, as well as organizing joint projects, programs and conferences. Moreover, the implementation of dual diploma programs among higher schools was also reflected in the memorandums.
During the discussions held at the universities within the framework of the signing of the memorandums, Rector Yagub Piriyev noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are developing successfully in all areas, including in the education sector, as well as he stressed that the signed documents will make additional contributions to cooperation.
In the meetings where specific directions of action for future cooperation were discussed, the available opportunities in the fields of education and research were reviewed, and it was decided to take appropriate steps to expand scientific cooperation in particular.
