A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and “Delta Group C.O.” LLC. The memorandum envisages mutual cooperation between science and the private sector to expand practical ties, organize joint programs in this area, as well as implement relevant measures to attract young people to the company.

The document was signed by BEU Rector, Professor Havar Mammadov, and director of “Delta Group C.O.” LLC Ilkin Shabanov.

Then, a meeting was held between the heads of the relevant structures of the two institutions to discuss the implementation of the issues envisaged in the memorandum.

Involving young staff in company within the cooperation, supporting internship programs, the participation of company employees in lectures, seminars, roundtables on special topics for BEU students, as well as the organization of special training programs and other projects were discussed in detail at the meeting held at “Delta Group C.O.” LLC.

It should be noted that the document includes the identification of inventors or professional researchers working at BEU, the measures to take advantage of their proposals, the involvement of students studying at the bachelor's and master's degrees in various specialties of the University in various internship programs, production internships, including seminars and trainings. Moreover, the memorandum embraces the joint participation in the development of modern educational programs, textbooks, teaching aids, syllabi and topics in relevant specialties, the measures to include BEU graduates in the company's candidate bank and attract them to relevant vacancies as interns and employees and other mutually agreed activities.
