BEU and Azertechnoline” LLC sign cooperation document

Baku Engineering University (BEU) and “Azertechnoline” LLC have signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by the rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov and the director of Azertechnoline LLC Tofig Mammadov.

The main purpose of signing the document is the mutual use of modern knowledge and experience, the involvement of universities and students in the activities of “Azertechnoline” LLC and the development of the business environment between the parties as a key factor in socio-economic development in Azerbaijan. Moreover, it determines the direction of joint cooperation in order to involve the country's business sector in scientific and educational work, apply the world's advanced scientific and technical achievements to the development of entrepreneurship, develop various sectors of the economy, educate businesses and promote business development.

Forms and areas of mutual cooperation included the exchange of information and consultations in the agricultural sector, joint holding of scientific and scientific-technical conferences of various statuses, joint participation in seminars, conferences, forums, projects and exhibitions, and other similar issues.

According to the agreement, BEU students will be able to conduct daily internship trips at “Azertechnoline” LLC and its member organizations, and students will have the opportunity to conduct research in relevant areas. In addition, the document envisaged holding "Career Days" at BEU in order to assist in the employment of highly educated BEU graduates, to inform students about the activities of the institution and the current staffing needs there.

Within the framework of the cooperation, BEU will assess the business environment in the country in the field of industry and the potential opportunities of business entities and offer relevant specialization, improvement and second specialization programs. Furthermore, the opportunity of the use of and visits to material and technical base of the University, libraries, training halls, and modern laboratories will be created, as well as support will be provided for various projects.
