Baku Engineering University and Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers LLC have signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of "Scholarship Program for Women". The document was signed by the rector of the university, professor Havar Mammadov and general director of LLC Rana Mammadova.
According to the agreement, the parties will work together to support women's education and career based on the said program. Thus, the document aims to support students in their educational life, develop their leadership skills and abilities, as well as to involve them in the company's activities and provide them with a job.
At the meeting, Havar Mammadov noted the growing role of women in society, the state administration system, as well as the successful representation of women in various professional fields and the conditions created for them by the state. Drawing attention to the necessity of industry-university cooperation on the training personnel with modern competencies in the competitive labor market, the Rector touched upon the participation of university students in a number of innovative projects implemented by enterprises, the application of the experience gained by students in various fields of industry, employment of graduates in accordance with their specialty fields, as well as other issues. Havar Mammadov expressed his hope that the current agreement would create wide opportunities for female students and would be useful in their future activities.
General Director of Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers LLC Rena Mammadova provided detailed information about the history, activities, and investment directions of the enterprise she leaded. Stating that the "Scholarship Program for Women" was developed to satisfy the demand for human resources of LLC, the General Director emphasized that there were great opportunities for employment of female personnel, to be trained in cooperation with BEU, not only in Azerbaijan, but also in other countries where the company operated.
The details of the cooperation were widely discussed at the meeting, as well as a detailed exchange of views was held on other issues of interest between the parties.
