A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation has been signed between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and “ATS Food” Limited Liability Company (LLC).

At a meeting held at BEU on this occasion, Rector Yagub Piriyev expressed his satisfaction with seeing the company’s management at the university. The Rector informed the meeting participants about the university’s activities, reforms implemented and achievements. Highlighting the dual degree programs among BEU and Chinese and South Korean universities, as well as new specialties opened in recent years, Yagub Piriyev touched upon possible areas of cooperation with “ATS Food” LLC. The Rector noted that personnel training is being conducted at BEU in the “Food Engineering” specialty, adding that the initiated cooperation would make a significant contribution to improving the practical knowledge and skills of students, training specialists in accordance with the requirements of the real sector, as well as establishing a sustainable partnership between the two parties.

During the meeting, Tural Hajiyev, Director of “ATS Food” LLC, provided extensive information about the company’s activities and products, highlighting relevant statistical indicators. Moreover, he spoke about the interest of the LLC, known as one of the largest food industry enterprises in the country, in cooperation with BEU, the issues of employment of graduates of the university in relevant specialties, as well as the involvement of students in internship programs.

Later, Rector Yagub Piriyev and Director Tural Hajiyev signed a memorandum of understanding. The document provides for the participation of students in internship programs, the inclusion of graduates in the company’s candidate bank, employment, the establishment of training centers in accordance with the specialties, and the implementation of other joint activities. Furthermore, the parties will cooperate in the preparation of competitive specialists in food engineering and technical specialties, the exchange of information, knowledge and experience, the implementation of joint projects, and the organization of events.

After signing the memorandum, the guests got acquainted with the laboratories of BEU.
