BEU administration answers students' questions in live broadcast

An online meeting on "Organization of distance education and its assessment at BEU" has been held with the support of the Technopark and Innovation Center of Baku Engineering University (BEU).

The meeting, moderated by the director of the Innovation Center Elchin Yusubov, focused on the speeches of the university administration.

BEU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Hamzaga Orujov, noted that despite the difficulties of the pandemic, the semester ended successfully. The professor spoke about the benefits that will be applied to students in the exam session of the fall semester, which was decided by the Academic Council of the University according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers and the order of the Ministry of Education.

Vice-rector for educational work, associate professor Bayram Huseynzada said that there were some difficulties in education due to the pandemic over the past year. The vice-rector stressed that the University administration was always with the students of BEU and never spared their support.

Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Manafaddin Namazov spoke about the work done by the university in the field of international relations. He informed about the admission of additional documents to the dual degree program of BEU in cooperation with Inha University of Korea and the online internal exam competition.

Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Elchin Suleymanov spoke about the state of scientific research at the university. He said that students through the Student Scientific Society (SSS) are very active. Speaking about the "International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers", which is traditionally held in April, the Vice-Rector invited young researchers to participate in this conference. E.Suleymanov also touched upon the issue of doctoral education of MBA students. At the end of his speech, he wished success to all students in the upcoming exam session.
