Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Inha University of the Republic of Korea are launching an international dual degree program in Civil Engineering at the undergraduate level of higher education for the 2021-2022 academic year within the framework of the “State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023”.
The program is implemented by BEU in cooperation with Inha University of South Korea. The program based on the 3 + 1 model will be taught at BEU for 3 years and at Inha University for 1 year.
During the 3-year study period at BEU, students will be taught Korean language classes, which are a condition of the program to develop relevant language skills, and they will take exams in the 2nd and 3rd academic years to obtain a TOPIK certificate, respectively.
Students' tuition fees, registration costs, access to teaching materials and electronic information resources, as well as the cost of 1 year of education and 3 weeks of summer school in South Korea are also covered by the "State Program 2019-2023".
Graduates of the program will gain skills in civil engineering, research, international education, analysis and development.
Admission to the international dual degree program is carried out by the State Examination Center (SEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of the results of entrance examinations (undergraduate) and the selection of Inha University. As a result of the selection, 25 students will be eligible to study Civil Engineering.
