An online meeting has been held with the academic staff of Faculty of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The dean of the faculty, associate professor Mayis Azizov noted that the autumn semester ended and the winter exam session completed. He said that despite the difficulties created by both the pandemic and the Patriotic War, the lessons were completely taught. The dean said that compared to the autumn semester of the last academic year, the number of faculty graduates tripled, and the success rate was 85%. He thanked the deputy deans, heads of departments, teachers, tutors and laboratory assistants for the regular organization of the educational process and the successful completion of the semester.
M.Azizov said that the training would continue online and it was a very responsible job. The dean also touched upon various issues related to preparations for the next semester. He wished everyone success in the upcoming spring semester.
Then the meeting continued with trainings.
The first training was organized by Nargiz Nahmatova, a senior lecturer at Public Administration. In the training on "Ethical issues in the teaching process" N.Nahmatova spoke about moral theories. She touched upon the basic ethical principles proposed in teaching, and spoke about the principles that were most often mentioned in the ethical rules of universities.
The next training was organized by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, PhD. in Economics Elsevar Ibadov. The training on "Effective organization of lessons in distance learning" touched upon the points to be considered before, during and after the lesson, and provided information on the use of presentation tools and interactivity.
At the end, the participants exchanged views on issues of interest to them.
