6 DDP Graduates Admitted to INHA University Master's Program with Full Scholarships

Six graduates of the international dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and South Korea's INHA University have been admitted to INHA University's master's program with full scholarships for 2025.

The DDP graduates, distinguished by their high academic achievements in education, obtained these scholarships based on the Letter of Intent signed for the development of cooperation between BEU and INHA University. According to the document, 10% of DDP graduates who excel in education are granted full scholarships when admitted to INHA University's master's programs.

This represents a unique opportunity for graduates seeking to advance both academically and in scientific research. Taking advantage of this favorable opportunity, 5 out of 6 graduates admitted to INHA University will continue their education in master's programs, while 1 will pursue an "Integrated degree (Master's + PhD)" program.

The graduates shared their thoughts about the program and their education in Korea.

Alper Gahramanli (Graduate of "Electrical Engineering" specialization):

-      This year I was admitted to the "Integrated degree (Master's+PhD)" program in "Electrical and Computer Engineering." In the first 1.5-2 years of the program, I must take master's level courses and accumulate the required credits. After this stage comes doctoral education, and at the end of the program I will obtain a PhD diploma. I also work as an assistant in the Electric Machines and Drives laboratory at the university. The BEU-INHA DDP creates truly great opportunities for young people like us on education and professional development abroad.

Aytaj Gojayeva (Electronics Engineering):

-      DDP opens new doors in the field of international education, creating opportunities for academic knowledge and familiarity with different cultures. The scholarships and support provided by the program represent a major advantage for our future career.

Mahammad Gurbanzade (Electronics Engineering):

-        I was admitted to the master's program in "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" specialization. At the same time, I work as a researcher at INHA University's Intelligent Power Grid laboratory. This program broadens our worldview. Overall, developing as a specialist in a modern educational environment in South Korea is an ideal platform for us.

Mahammad Maharramov (Civil Engineering):

-      I was admitted to the master's level in "Civil Engineering" specialization. I also work as a researcher at INHA University's Consys laboratory. The BEU-INHA DDP creates a unique opportunity to learn Korean and acquire the most modern knowledge in our specialization. The education here has made a great contribution to my development.

Rauf Hashimli (Electrical Engineering):

-      The BEU-INHA DDP is an ideal educational project that is future-oriented and supports the development of generations. I continue my education in the master's program in "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" specialization. I work as an assistant in INHA University's Power Systems laboratory. Finally, I want to serve my country's development as a well-qualified specialist.

Najaf Mammadov (Electronics Engineering):

-      I have achieved master's level in "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" specialization. I also work as a researcher at INHA University's Intelligent Embedded System laboratory. We are grateful to our state and BEU leadership for this program. We also thank INHA University's leadership for the opportunities created. Because within the framework of the BEU-INHA DDP, our education not only increases our knowledge, broadens our worldview, but also familiarizes us with different cultures.

It should be noted that the program, implemented since 2020, has been extended until 2030 by President Ilham Aliyev's Decree dated July 22, 2025, "On additional measures related to increasing the international competitiveness of the higher education system in the Republic of Azerbaijan." To date, 143 people have graduated from the program.
