4 BEU teams qualify for World Robotics Championship Azerbaijan

The teams “Gladiator”, “LiftUp”, “Ultimate Army”, “INHA FK” consisting of students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have qualified for the final stage of the World Robotics Championship (WRC) Azerbaijan.

During the qualifying stages of the championship, young engineers from BEU demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the technological field and earned the right to be represented in the final.

The World Robotics Championship is an international competition that brings together talented and innovative young people in robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering and other technological fields. The competition is held annually in different categories and provides participants with significant opportunities to express their creative ideas and develop teamwork.

The final stage of the WRC Azerbaijan is planned to be held in June in Khankendi and Baku. BEU teams will compete in the finals in the categories of Bots Combat-Robot battles, RC Craft-Design and control of flying vehicles, and RoboSoccer-Competitions between robot football teams.

The winners of this stage will compete against competitors from around the world in the international finals to be held in India in August.
