A meeting of the admission committee for the doctoral program for the Doctor of Philosophy program has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

At the meeting, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Agasi Malikov emphasized the steps taken in our country to form the potential of high-level scientific personnel and increase the interest of young people in science. Moreover, he drew attention to the tasks of educational institutions in the process of strengthening scientific activity and training personnel.

Noting the importance of making decisions based on the principles of objectivity and justice when determining the qualifications of those wishing to be admitted to doctoral studies, Agasi Malikov wished the applicants success.

After being informed about the admission rules and conditions at the meeting, the applicants answered the questions of the commission members regarding the specialties they had chosen.

Later, discussions were held with the scientific supervisors and the qualifications of those wishing to be admitted to doctoral studies were checked.

At the end, a relevant decision was made to admit 22 doctoral students who had submitted documents to BEU to the next stage - exams.
