The traditional organization of the 2022/2023 academic year has started at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

The first lessons in the new academic year was dedicated to the topic "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!".

Of note, admission plan of BEU at the bachelor’s degree in the current year was 97.78 percent. 72 percent of the new students admitted to BEU in 25 majors will study on a state order, and 28 percent will study on a paid basis.

This year, a positive trend was recorded in the number of high-schoring students who preferred BEU. Thus, compared to the previous academic year, the number of students scoring more than 600 among BEU undergraduate students increased twice. Furthermore, the number of those who scored more than 500 points exceeded 70 percent. Moreover, 49 people who scored more than 600 points, and 51 people scoring over 500 points chose the dual degree program between BEU and Inha University of South Korea in engineering.
