15 Foreign Students to Study at BMU Under "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" Program

15 foreign students will receive education at Baku Engineering University (BMU) under the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program. 10 of them will study at the bachelor's level and 5 at the master's level in the specialties of Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Architecture, and Logistics and Transportation Technologies Engineering.

Based on the relevant decree of President Ilham Aliyev, applications for the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program, jointly implemented by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Science and Education, were received from 64 countries for the 2025-2026 academic year. A total of 100 people from 51 countries were deemed worthy of this grant from among hundreds of candidates.

The selected candidates will receive education at various educational levels at 9 leading higher education institutions of Azerbaijan

It should be noted that according to the program, citizens of member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement, countries included in the group of Small Island Developing States, and countries where peoples and national minorities with ethnic, historical, and cultural ties to our people live are expected to receive education at Azerbaijan's higher education institutions over a period of 5 years
