The winter examination session of the autumn semester has started at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

The exams were organized in accordance with the existing rules of the pandemic. Thus, the number of participants per room was regulated by the principle of social distance, and the examination staff was provided with appropriate protective equipment.

The Appeals Commission was established to ensure transparency and objectivity in the assessment of students' knowledge during the autumn semester exam session, and promptly eliminate any negative situations that might arise. Moreover, headquarters and working group also are operating for monitoring the exam session, immediately investigating the complaints received, coding the answer sheets and checking them by teachers.

In order to automatically calculate students' pre-exam scores on subjects through the Electronic Information System, all assessment information was fully reflected in the system before the exams. The results of the exam are uploaded by the teachers on the Electronic Information System on the day of the exam.

Of note, the exam session will last until February 1.
