A meeting has been held between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Duy Tan University, one of the leading higher education institutions of the Republic of Vietnam, to establish cooperative relations.
The meeting was attended by the academic staff of BEU, employees of the International Relations Department, and representatives of Duy Tan University.
The parties exchanged views on issues of expanding cooperation in the field of education and scientific activities.
BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul noted that the university attaches great importance to international cooperation, especially expanding academic relations with leading higher education institutions in the Asian region. Moreover, she noted that this meeting with Duy Tan University is of great importance in terms of mutual exchange of experience, implementation of joint scientific-research projects, and exchange of students and teachers.
The discussions considered the prospects for implementing short-term exchange programs between the two universities, organizing dual degree programs, developing research projects and joint scientific articles, as well as organizing international conferences and seminars. Furthermore, the sharing of laboratory and technological resources, opportunities for joint activities in the field of innovation and startups were also in the spotlight.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to prepare a roadmap for cooperation and take practical steps in this direction at the next stage. Representatives of both BEU and Duy Tan University emphasized the high level of mutual interests, pointing out the importance of holding more extensive meetings in the future.
