Training held at BEU as part of "Robotex Azerbaijan"

An interactive training for judges and mentors has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) within the framework of "Robotex Azerbaijan".

In the training conducted by Orkhan Çevik, the founder of the Turkish company "Robotex", in addition to BEU, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Odlar Yurdu University, Lyceum named after Heydar Aliyev, Baku European Lyceum, Baku Modern Educational Complex, Elite gymnasium, Zakalar Lyceum, secondary school No. 7 of Sabail district, representatives of Idrak Lyceum and other education, training and teaching centers participated.

The trainer informed about the purpose and mission of the international competition in the field of robotics, which is organized every year in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, and the Azerbaijan stage, which will be held under "Robotex Türkiye" from this year.

Later, the judges and mentors were introduced to the organizational and technical aspects of the competition, which serve to increase the interest of children and young people in engineering and science, as well as the selection stages.

Clarifing such issues as LEGO Sumo robot competitions, Makeblock line tracker, category judging principles, participant rights, selection procedures, etc., Orkhan Chevik answered the questions of the participants.
