Baku Engineering University (BEU) continues to expand its cooperation with leading higher education institutions in Malaysia. In this regard, the next partnership meeting has been held with Sunway University.
The meeting was attended by the academic staff of the universities and representatives of relevant structural units.
BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul, as well as Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Agasi Malikov made speeches, emphasizing the importance of mutual exchange of experience and joint initiatives between higher education institutions. It was noted that such meetings contribute to the expansion of the university's international cooperation network and its integration into the global academic environment. Moreover, necessary information was brought to attention about the scientific research and innovation-oriented projects implemented at BEU.
Jade Thum Yun Seong, an employee of Sunway University, made a presentation at the meeting. Furthermore, the speeches touched upon possible areas of cooperation with BEU.
The parties discussed in detail the issues of organizing teacher and student exchanges, preparing joint scientific research projects, and establishing dual degree programs. Potential areas of cooperation in the fields of sustainability, engineering, and information technologies were also in the spotlight.
At the end, an agreement was reached to prepare a draft memorandum that would define the legal basis of cooperation.
