Baku Engineering University (BEU) has held the 93rd TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) exam for assessment of Korean language skills. The exam was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan and the dual diploma program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between BMU and INHA University of Korea.
A total of 454 candidates took part in the two-part exam, 263 of whom were students studying under BEU-INHA DDP. In the first stage, the candidates read the texts in Korean and answered the relevant questions. In the second stage, the levels of listening and writing skills of the candidates were determined.
One of the main conditions of the BEU-INHA DDP implemented within the framework of the "2019-2023 State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan" is that students master the Korean language and pass the TOPIK exam.
The results of the 93rd TOPIK exam will be announced by the Korea Institute of International Education at the end of May.
