Baku Engineering University(BEU) will organize the online regional stage of "45th ICPC-International Collegiate Programming Contest” (XVI Azerbaijan Championship) on November 29, 2020. 

About 70 teams from 18 higher education institutions of Azerbaijan (each team consists of 3 students and a team leader) will take part in the competition. The successful teams will represent our country in the semifinals of the "45th ICPC-International Collegiate Programming Contest”, which will be held online on December 13.

It should be noted that the "ICPC - International Collegiate Programming Contest" competition has been held regularly since 1977. According to the 44th ICPC 2019-2020 statistics, the last competition was attended by about 60,000 students from about 3,500 universities in 111 countries. Teams of Azerbaijani higher education institutions have been participating in this competition since 2005. The main sponsor of the regional competition is PASHA Bank, a leading corporate bank in Azerbaijan.
