A textbook entitled "International Road Transportation" adn co-authored by Bakhtiyar Namazov and Rauf Mammadov, associate professors of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Baku Engineering University (BEU), as well as leading specialists of the Azerbaijan International Road Carriers Association Orkhan Afandiyev and Ramiz Akhundov has been published. 

The textbook was designed to train managers, specialists and individual entrepreneurs involved in international road transport, as well as to improve their professionalism. The book can be used by undergraduate and graduate students in the field of logistics and transport technologies, organization and management of road transport.

The presented textbook will also be useful in training high-quality specialists in the field of "Logistics and Transport Technologies", the first training of which began at BEU in the 2017/2018 academic year as a new specialty.

The book is based on the European Union Directive 1071/2009 and the standardized curriculum of the International Road Transport Union Academy (IRU Academy).

It should be added that a book entitled "Fundamentals of Logistics" authored by BEU associate professors Bakhtiyar Namazov and Rauf Mammadov was recently published.
