8th grade students of Zirva Lyceum visited Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Dean of the Education Faculty of BEU, assoc.prof. Elshad Abdullayev noted that the excursion aimed to acquaint students with the University life and provided them with in-depth information about the faculties and departments of the University. Clarifying the questions of interest to students, E.Abdullayev wished them to be BEU students after graduation from high school. 

Later, the students visited the University's Biology Laboratory. Hasanaga Mayilov, a lecturer at the of Chemistry and Biology Department, gave the necessary information about the laboratory and explained the functions of the existing equipment.

Furthermore, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the ICT Center, the library, Chemistry, and other educational laboratories, as well as to observe interesting experiments in the laboratories.

Yegana Akbarli, a biology teacher at Zirva Lyceum, thanked BEU administration for the organization of the excursion.
