Spring semester examination session for the 2021/2022 academic year has ended at Baku Engineering University (BEU). A total of 1100 exams were held in the exam session from June 1 to July 5. During the session, the necessary administrative and technical measures were organized at the highest level in order to organize the exams a transparent manner and in accordance with the existing rules.
BEU Rector, professor Havar Mammadov, the University administration kept the examination process in the spotlight, and the course of the examinations was strictly monitored to ensure objective and unbiased assessment of students' knowledge. The results of the exam are uploaded by the teachers on the Electronic Information System on the day of the exam.
The Appeals Commission was established to promptly eliminate any negative situations that might arise during the examination session. All opportunities were created for students to apply to the commission after the exam. It should be noted that during the session, the commission received only 412 applications.
In particular, decisions were made to resolve the appeals in favor of the students. Thus, according to the decision of the commission, 167 of the appeals were positively resolved. For 245 appeals, certain points were added to the students' exam results. 91 of these adjustments were due to the elimination of technical errors, and 79 were due to the presence of certain nuances in the students' answer sheet in their favor.
Generally, the examination session, in which transparency, impartiality and objectivity were preserved in the assessment of students' knowledge, ended successfully.
