Rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU), professor Havar Mammadov has observed the examination session of the spring semester at the University. 

After reviewing the exam questions, the Rector had a sincere conversation with the students and listened to their opinions. Expressing his confidence that students' knowledge would be assessed impartially and objectively, the Rector wished them success in exams and future activities. 

Havar Mammadov got acquainted with the activities of the Headquarters and Appeals Commission, established to monitor the progress of the examination session, immediately investigate possible complaints, and gave his recommendations.

It was noted that the necessary conditions had been created in the auditoriums and all technical measures had been taken at a high level to hold the exam session in a transparent manner and in accordance with existing rules. In order to automatically calculate students' pre-exam scores on subjects through the Electronic Information System, all assessment information (attendance, semester activities, independent work, laboratory work and course work results) had been uploaded in the system before the exams. 

Exam results are immediately entered into the electronic system by teachers on the day of the exam (in exceptional cases, the next working day).

It should be noted that the exam session at BEU will last until July 5. A total of 1,100 exams are planned to be held during the examination session.
