Qualification stage of International Collegiate Programming Competition held at BEU

Baku Engineering University has hosted the qualification stage of “the Hash Code 2020 by Google” International Collegiate Programming Competition with the support of PASHA Bank. A total of 66 teams participated in the competition, including the teams of various higher education institutions registered under “Baku Engineering University HUB”, “ADA University HUB”, “STEP IT Academy Baku HUB” and teams of professionals working in companies. In the competition, the teams were instructed to solve an engineering problem (develop a program) within 4 hours and test it with an automatic grading system.

Baku Engineering University's “BEU PROgrammers” team took the first place among student teams in Azerbaijan, while ADA University's “SpinLock” and Baku Engineering University's “BeuDevs” teams took  the first and second places among professionals, accordingly. 

For information, “Hash Code” is an international team programming competition organized by Google with the participation of students and professionals from universities in Europe, Central Asia and Africa. The competition is organized in two stages. The qualification stage is held in local HUBs established in different countries and individually online. This stage of the international competition took place in 89 countries of Europe, Central Asia and Africa, and a total of 10,724 teams participated in the competition. The final stage will be held in one of Google's central databases designated by Google.
