Orientation meetings with the first-year students admitted to the bachelor's degree of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have ended. The last such meeting was organized for students of Accounting Department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The event was also attended by students who could not attend previous meetings at the Faculty.
Head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, PhD. in Economics Firudin Sultanov informed the students about the specialty of accounting.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Assoc.prof. Mayis Azizov congratulated the students on their success and noted the benefits of studying at BEU.
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, PhD. in Economics Elsevar Ibadov made a presentation on Student Information System (SIS) of BEU, the assessment of student knowledge, as well as the organization of distance education.
At the end, the students got acquainted with the Computer Lab and were assisted in the registration of lessons.
It should be noted that the first-year students of BEU gradually got acquainted with the activities of the University. As part of the orientation meetings, English proficiency exams were held for students admitted to English-language specialties.
Due to the pandemic situation, there was a strict control over the University entrance on the implementation of the rules adopted by Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
