New specialties create wide perspectives for applicants who want to study at BEU

New specialties have been created for the bachelor's degree of Baku Engineering University (BEU) in the 2020/2021 academic year. BEU has a wide range of perspectives, opportunities and scientific and pedagogical staff for applicants who want to study in new specialties such as Information Security, Telecommunications and Radio Engineering, Service Transportation (types of transport) and become highly qualified specialists in these fields.

This year, admission to Information Security, Telecommunications and Radio Engineering will be held in the 1st specialty group, and admission to the Service Transportation  (by types of transport) specialty will be held in the 2nd specialty group.

Undergraduate education in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Civil Engineering Departments will be carried out jointly with Inha University of the Republic of Korea on the basis of a state order for dual degree programs.

In general, over the past two years, BEU created other new specialties that are in high demand in the current labor market. Among them are Architecture, Urban Planning, Design, Economics, Logistics and Transport Engineering, Ecological Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Process Automation Engineering and Industrial Engineering.

Modern classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, a library with a fund of educational and scientific literature, and rooms equipped with computers connected to the Internet are available at the University in order to ensure the teaching process of new specialties.

Moreover, BEU students are constantly working to find jobs in the labor market, as well as to develop the relationship between production and personnel in the labor market. . The department, which assists in providing graduates with jobs in accordance with their specialties in the direction of the requirements of enterprises, also organizes personnel selection exams for vacancies for relevant students and graduates of enterprises.

For the next academic year, a total of 1210 planned places were allocated in 29 specialties at the bachelor's degree of BEU. 640 of them were planned for the Azerbaijani section, 15 for the Russian section and 555 for the English section.

160 places in 15 specialties and 19 specializations were allocated in the master's degree of BEU. 125 of them fall to the Azerbaijani section and 35 to the English section. In the MBA program, 275 places were allocated in 6 specialties. 210 of them are for Azerbaijani section and 65 for English section.
